About the portal
MEDGID helps you find a doctor and book an appointment in a single session — no calls to reception and no comparing ten clinic websites.

A patient in Almaty chooses a doctor blind. One clinic shows its prices, another does not; reviews are scattered across three sites and contradict each other; free slots can only be found out by phone during working hours. We gather all of this in one place and show it in full.

We do not treat and we do not recommend treatment. We are responsible for something else: that a doctor’s profile is complete, the price is the same as at the clinic, a review comes from someone who actually attended, and a booking is confirmed the same day.

The portal is free for patients. We earn from clinics that list their doctors’ profiles and schedules with us, and we keep that separation explicit: a place in the results cannot be bought.

How we work
The price is shown before you book
The price of a first appointment is shown on the doctor’s profile. If a clinic does not disclose its price, we write “Price on request” rather than substituting a market average.
Reviews come from people who attended
A review marked “verified” was left after a booking made through the portal. We also publish unverified reviews, but mark them differently — we will not delete the inconvenient ones.
A place in the results is not for sale
The order of doctors in the list is set by the chosen sorting, not by the clinic’s tariff. If sponsored profiles ever appear, they will be labelled as advertising.
The portal does not make diagnoses
Articles about conditions are written to lead you to the right doctor and explain what happens at the appointment. They contain no prescriptions.

Responsible for checking patient reviews: no review reaches a doctor's profile without passing the editorial team. Handles disputed reviews and clinics' objections.

Runs partnerships with clinics and medical centres: connecting schedules and keeping addresses, prices and lists of specialists in profiles up to date.

Responsible for patient support: helps with booking appointments and handles enquiries — from a rescheduled visit to a complaint about the data in a profile.

Responsible for how the portal and its search run: page speed, availability of booking and the safety of the personal data a patient leaves when booking.

Responsible for how complete and accurate the catalogue is: cross-checks doctor and clinic profiles between sources, removes duplicates and keeps the data from drifting away from reality.

Требует от текстов различать «терпимо» и «повод вызвать скорую».
