I consulted neurosurgeon Rais Almas Bolatbekovich because of trigeminal neuralgia. I was tormented by sharp, very severe pain in the left half of my face, under the eye. For more than three years I suffered, was treated by many — both by a neurologist and by Chinese doctors, but nothing specific helped: they prescribed finlepsin two tablets a day, and that was it. I walked around as if in a fog, and the pain appeared when I ate and washed my face. After Almas Bolatbekovich performed laser destruction of the trigeminal nerve, the pain went away completely, I stopped taking finlepsin. Now I eat, wash my face, talk calmly — without pain and without pills.

I had to deal with this centre, and I will say straight away: it is very difficult to get through to them by phone. When I finally got through, there were two girls at the reception desk who could not answer my questions until a doctor happened to come over and explain everything in detail.

The doctors are good and competent. The centre is clean and cosy, the ward has everything necessary for patients, and the food is fine.
Disliked
Getting through by phone is a problem. The two girls at the reception desk are incompetent, they cannot answer the questions asked. Because they do not answer incoming calls, many patients are lost. The reception staff need to be replaced or taught to work like in other medical centres in Almaty — for example, in Sunkar, let them call and listen to how one should work.

I went to this organisation, and the interaction with the reception desk left an unpleasant aftertaste.

At the reception desk I was not given full information and was treated rudely. When I asked questions they could not answer, they simply hung up, and afterwards did not pick up at all. This is a public organisation, not a flat where receptionists can allow themselves not to answer.

I had my tests done, and I was told that the result would be ready in a day. I warned them that I urgently needed surgery and clarified whether the tests would definitely be ready. I was told that yes, they would.
Disliked
I do not advise going here. In the end, 9 days passed, and the tests were still not ready. All that time I kept calling them, and only on the 10th day, after I had a row, something moved. This is simply mockery and an unprofessional attitude towards the client. In the end, I had my tests done elsewhere. I never got a refund from them.
