Today I came to this department, and they took blood from my vein. The nurse who took the sample was already elderly. At first she missed the vein in one arm, took off her glove and started injecting even deeper, poking around for about two minutes, my arm began to go numb, although it was clear that she had missed. Then she tried the other arm and only got it on the second attempt. At the same time she worked without gloves and often touched the puncture site. When I asked why she was without gloves, she answered that she had treated her hands and that in gloves she could not feel the vein. I was simply in shock and left in shock, because for the first time in my life I encounter this in a laboratory. On the way out there was no one at the reception desk. Now the puncture site hurts at any touch.

I did not like that the nurse first missed the vein in one arm, took off her glove and kept injecting deeper, poking around for about two minutes, which made my arm start to go numb. Then in the other arm she only got it on the second attempt. She worked without gloves and often touched the puncture site, and to my remark she replied that she had treated her hands and that she could not feel the vein with gloves on. I was in shock, as this is the first time I have encountered this in a laboratory. Also, when I was leaving, there was no one at the reception desk. Now the puncture site hurts at any touch. I hope the management will take measures.
