I wrote my review after I had already completed treatment, because when I was choosing a doctor myself, I thought reviews could be fake — they are often written on the very first day, after all. I had acute pain between the ovary and the back passage. When the pain started, I thought I would put up with it for a week and it would go away on its own — I put it down to the cold, and if it did not go away, I would look for a proctologist. That was how I came across Anar Aslanov. At the very first appointment he checked everything — both for haemorrhoids and for other possible problems. After the examination it turned out that I did not have haemorrhoids, but that pus had collected in the place I wrote about. He explained everything, how it happens, and answered all my questions — both on my topic and off it. We started the operation straight away: they made a cut, and the pus drained out. The doctor promised that the acute pain would go away immediately — and so it did. Afterwards I went for dressing changes for 4–5 days, and did the rest at home. Now everything is fine with me.

At the very first appointment he checked everything, explained everything about how it would proceed, answered all my questions, even ones not related to my condition. He started the operation right away, and the acute pain went away, just as he had promised. It was my first appointment with a proctologist, and I did not know that I needed to prepare for it in advance — to do an enema the day before. It seems to me that patients should be warned about this. The doctor kept repeating that I should have prepared. The examination took place, the doctor prescribed treatment, but it did not make me feel any better. In a couple of weeks I was supposed to come for a follow-up appointment.

I did not like that I was not warned about the need to prepare for the appointment, and the doctor just kept repeating that I should have prepared. The prescribed treatment did not help. Also, while waiting for a taxi at the entrance, I heard the proctologist talking to the girl at the reception — he very tactlessly asked whether I had bought from them the laxative that he himself had recommended for preparation for the next appointment. I had not bought it, because the girl at the reception said that a Microlax could be inserted. Apparently, the doctor did not like this — perhaps some bonuses are given for the sale — and he started talking about my weight. I believe there should be confidentiality of correspondence; where is medical confidentiality: everything related to the patient, the doctor should keep in the consulting room, and not disclose. This was incorrect on his part.
