I put off visiting a proctologist for a long time because I was afraid, and I specifically looked for a female doctor. At some point I realised that I could not put it off any longer, and I went for the appointment after all.

I really liked the doctor — exactly the kind that an anxious person like me needs. She put me at ease and calmed me down, even though my brain paints scary pictures and makes me feel afraid and ashamed. I have found my doctor in such a delicate matter.
