My first appointment was in January, more precisely on 5 January. I came with a complaint of severe ringing in the ears. I decided not to write a review straight away, I wanted first to see how the treatment would go. I waited about 20 minutes for the appointment, even though I arrived on time. The doctor apologised and explained that the delay was because of a colleague she could not refuse. The examination lasted about 35 minutes and went fairly well. I was prescribed drips and medications, and also given a referral for tests. After the drips I felt better, the ringing decreased. At the follow-up appointment I told her that of the prescribed medications I had only taken 3 weeks' worth, because they gave me a severe headache. I could not link the pain to a specific medicine, so I stopped everything, and the headaches went away.
The examination went fine, it took about 35 minutes. After the drips my condition improved, the ringing became less. The doctor gave me a referral for tests.
I had to wait about 20 minutes for the first appointment, even though I arrived on time. When I said that I had stopped taking the medications because of a headache, the doctor did not like that, and she did not bother to look into which medication could have had that effect. She spends a lot of time on psychosomatics. The doctor also allowed herself to comment on topics that were not related to my appointment: she linked the headache, which is now gone, to my daily routine — that is one thing, but linking it to the condition of my child, whom she has never seen and whose diagnosis she does not know, is at the very least strange. She said that I study too much unnecessary and irrelevant information, that I am a closed-off person — that was also not relevant to the appointment. After all, I did not come to a psychologist. Overall, I was left with an unpleasant impression. I have decided for myself that I will not book with this doctor again. Perhaps she is simply not the right doctor for me.
