My baby is only three months old, and we discovered a blocked tear duct (dacryocystitis). The doctor immediately understood what was wrong, but still carried out a full examination — both vision and eyes. Everything was explained to me in detail, and they told and showed me how to do the massage. After some time, the treatment we were prescribed helped, and we coped with the illness even faster than expected.
The doctor was able to make contact even with such a small child. She warned that if the treatment did not work, a small operation would be needed to probe the ducts, but reassured me that this was an extreme case and that there was a chance of avoiding it. She did not frighten me, as often happens, did not insist on a follow-up appointment, but said that if everything was fine, there was no need to come again — just grow and be healthy. I do not regret turning to her, and I can say with confidence: do not doubt it, the doctor is really good. I am satisfied, definitely.
