Patient story
We went for an appointment with a paediatrician, had tests done and had an X-ray. The doctor prescribed treatment and gave a referral. After 3 days, since the treatment was not helping, we went for a follow-up appointment with another specialist.
Disliked
The prescribed treatment does not help at all — it turns out to be just a waste of time, money and the child's health. The doctor is calm, but does not say anything unnecessary, you cannot get a word out of her. She gave a referral, but usually they agree with parents whether it is even suitable for the child. There were no recommendations at all. I do not recommend 100%.

We booked an appointment for 12.00, but we were not seen on time because many people are seen in the order of a walk-in queue.
Liked
The doctor is competent and tactful, prescribed treatment, and it partially helped.
Disliked
The walk-in queue is not very convenient, a shortcoming of the clinic. I had to have some additional tests done, and a few symptoms still remained.

We came to the appointment exactly on time as booked, with a complaint about a wet cough in our 3-year-old daughter. As soon as we went in, they clarified that we had booked through the website — apparently, as in the review below, because through the clinic it would have been more expensive and the percentage would have been higher. We were sent for an X-ray, where they made a conclusion — pneumonia. They immediately prescribed antibiotics, cough syrups and inhalations with Pulmicort. We treated according to the prescription for 5 days, there was no improvement at all, and the cough only got worse. I booked an appointment with another paediatrician at another clinic, he looked at the X-ray and explained that there was no pneumonia (and this paediatrician, by the way, had not looked at the X-ray, only the conclusion of the image). They diagnosed obstructive bronchitis, none of the syrups and antibiotics should have been taken, and only inhalations with other remedies helped — the child recovered in 3 days, the cough went away.

Nothing prescribed by this doctor helped, so I do not recommend them.

I had an appointment with this doctor. The doctor carried out a detailed examination of me, looked at my tests and gave recommendations on taking medications. She also explained in which cases blood sugar fluctuations occur and what should be done in such cases.

The doctor is very qualified. She explained everything in detail, gave recommendations on medications and told me about blood sugar fluctuations. Many thanks to her. Once I recover after the operation, I will come to her with my tests.

I took a risk and went to this clinic, even though it gets hate on all social media.
Disliked
This is terrible! The doctors know nothing. The 'cardiologist' didn't even listen to my complaints, spoke to me in a rude tone and didn't listen to me at all. Terrible doctors and clinic! I don't recommend it.

The appointment at Emirmed was supposed to be by booking, but in reality we had to sit in the walk-in queue the whole time. At first I barely got in at almost my appointed time, I was immediately sent for tests and an ultrasound, I paid for everything, sat through the walk-in queue and went back for the appointment to get the conclusion — again through the walk-in queue. At the first appointment the doctor wrote out a treatment plan, and when the results came in, we went back to her for a follow-up, she referred us to an infectious disease specialist, there we paid separately for the infectious disease specialist's appointment and again waited in the walk-in queue. The doctor also mixed things up and printed out for me the consultation record of another patient, I discovered this at home, then spent another 4 hours asking them to send our prescription sheet on WhatsApp. Over 2 days of appointments we spent about 70 thousand tenge. If you book through this website, when you arrive at your appointed time they can move you around as they like, because the booking isn't through the call centre. So we waited 40 minutes because we were moved, with a 10-month-old baby.

Emirmed is a swamp. Appointments seem to be by booking, but then you sit in a live queue. When your appointment is at 10 o'clock, be prepared to leave at 14:00. So does that mean we paid her for the follow-up appointment for nothing? Service = 0. The madhouse has nothing on this.

I came to Aliya Aliyevna with my 4-month-old baby. My baby had diarrhoea for a month, it was green, and every time I breastfed, the baby had diarrhoea. We went to many places, we even had antibiotics at the infectious diseases hospital, but it did not go away. There they told me not to breastfeed, to give formula. Both my baby and I suffered greatly, we could not breastfeed. Aliya Aliyevna immediately realised it was from the milk and, first of all, explained to us in our panic that we should not worry, explained the causes in full, and gave medications without ordering any tests. After taking the medications, the result was visible on the second day, the diarrhoea decreased, and now everything is getting better.

I want to say a thousand thanks to Aliya Aliyevna. I breastfed my baby and our worries went away. If I had not come to this doctor, I would have been deprived of the happiness of breastfeeding my baby. She immediately determined it was from the milk and gave us medications without ordering any tests, and the results of the medications were visible on the very second day. Some doctors are ready to prescribe harmful things like antibiotics. Do not listen to them, go straight to doctors who are confident in themselves, like Aliya Aliyevna.

Liked

I had an appointment with a doctor, they took a lung X-ray at Emir Med, and the report said pneumonia. Based on this report, I was prescribed injections. I doubted that my daughter had pneumonia, and I found a good pulmonologist, not even one but two — they looked at the X-ray and said there was no pneumonia at all.

I liked that the doctor at least listened, and that I managed to find a good pulmonologist, even two, who looked at the X-ray and said there was no pneumonia.
Disliked
I did not like the doctor at all, I do not recommend her. She silently wrote out treatment and sent me away, without even looking at the X-ray, without saying anything. Because of this, I spent 5 days uselessly giving cephalexin to a small child. All they care about is getting paid, and health is not important to them. That is how things are at Emir Med.

The appointment went like this: the doctor examined me — felt my abdomen, listened to my lungs — after which he said there was nothing serious, and silently sat down at the computer. I was prescribed tests and treatment, which we have only just started, we will see the results later.
Disliked
I did not like that the doctor answered only the questions I asked myself and showed no interest in anything else. After the examination, she silently stared at the computer monitor. I felt indifference towards me. I would like all doctors during a consultation to be able to listen while looking at the patient, not at the monitor. I was also sent for tests, but the doctor did not even look at them — she simply prescribed the entire treatment.

We recently came to the specialist: she examined the mouth, felt the abdomen, referred us for an ultrasound of the gastrointestinal tract and diagnosed an 11-month-old child with bile stasis. She prescribed several medications and asked whether there was a way to keep in touch in case anything happened, since the child has periodic vomiting.
Disliked
To my question about keeping in touch, she replied that she could not, it was not allowed, the clinic does not permit it. I believe that it is precisely with small patients that contact should be maintained, especially when the situation is complicated and several medications have been prescribed. The internet states that an appointment with her costs 6000, but at the clinic she charges 7000.
