The appointment went like this: I was told about the operation for 40 minutes, I paid 20,000 tenge, although I knew that this could not relieve the pain, and I was given a prescription for painkillers.

I did not like that they advertised the operation for 40 minutes, took 20,000 tenge, knowing that they would not relieve the pain, and only gave a prescription for painkillers. The operation costs 4 million, under the quota 2 million for knee replacement, and you can stop walking. All of this could have been written on WhatsApp, instead of making me come in with pain and pay.

I want to say a big thank you to Doctor Orazaliyev K. M. for his professionalism. In May 2020, my husband had a poorly performed knee operation in Shymkent. We were told that the complications would go away with time, but they did not. We consulted various orthopaedic surgeons and traumatologists, spent in total more than 15 million on rehabilitation, until, on advice, we found Kairat Madetovich — a doctor who performs very precise knee joint operations using the Stryker arthroplasty robot. In December 2024, my husband had the operation.

I came to Dostar Mede for an appointment with the traumatologist Orazaliyev Kairat Madetovich. He examined me and recommended an operation, which he then performed himself. The operation turned out to be minimally invasive, although I thought there would be an incision along the whole leg — I had previously seen such wounds in acquaintances after similar fractures. The most unexpected thing — after the operation there was no cast. Now I walk on crutches and already put almost full weight on the leg, only a month has passed.

I see Kairat Madetovich as his patient. In May 2018 he performed knee replacement surgery on me. 10 months have passed since then, but I still limp and walk with a cane, the leg is swollen. A vascular ultrasound showed lymphoedema, I was given disability group 3. I do not have his number, so I ask him to call me — I need his advice.
