I also had an ultrasound done in room 208 — the specialist (whose name, unfortunately, I did not remember) unhurriedly and attentively examined the vessels.

I went for an appointment with Doctor Pak from Talgar, it took me two hours to get there, and at the clinic they told me that my son was still small and this doctor does not see such patients.

I really did not like that nowhere was full information about the doctor's qualifications indicated — for example, that Doctor Pak only sees children from the age of 15. Because of this, I had to urgently look for another doctor and spend another 40 minutes driving the child through traffic jams.

I had an appointment, and right there at the clinic they did an ultrasound for me, and everything became clear straight away. I was at the clinic for a little over an hour, there were many patients.

I came to see Dr Denis Georgievich, I wanted to have my blood vessels checked and to find out whether surgery for varicose veins was needed. The doctor sent me for an ultrasound scan of the lower limbs — either to room 108 or room 110 — and to have some tests done, and then to come back to him for the conclusion. I did everything as he said. When I came for the conclusion, I was prescribed a lot of things for treatment, but only if the surgery was not to be done straight away. I understand that the doctor makes the conclusion based on the ultrasound scan and the tests, and the ultrasound scan said that on both legs the ostial valve was incompetent. Then I went to a medical centre that deals with surgery for the treatment of varicose veins, and the doctor there had doubts, asked for it to be checked again — and said that no surgery was required, the vessels were quite patent, and if I wanted, I could have a cosmetic procedure, sclerotherapy, to remove the spider veins on my legs. I had it done straight away. At this clinic they did not even charge for the appointment and the ultrasound scan, which already inspired trust.

Dr Denis Georgievich turned out to be very attentive and honest, I have no complaints about him, he is indeed a very good doctor. At the clinic where varicose vein surgery is performed, I liked that they did not charge for the appointment and the ultrasound — that inspired trust.

I did not like that the ultrasound doctor Nugmedinov Mukhtar Duysengaliyevich wrote on the ultrasound that the ostial valve was incompetent on both legs, although at another medical centre they said that the vessels were patent and no operation was needed. If I had ended up at the clinic by referral from AQ MED (Emir Meda), where they would want to make money, I could have had an operation on healthy veins. I advise avoiding this ultrasound doctor. One could even sue such pseudo-ultrasound doctors, and I will think about it. They charge a lot: the appointment with ultrasound cost 15,000 tenge, and I got, as they say, what I got. It is my own fault that I did not pay attention that AQ MED is under the old name Emir Med.
