The appointment went well, the doctor listened to me attentively. I was given the correct diagnosis, an inguinal hernia was detected in time, though it was questionable, as it was barely palpable. Hydrocele was also confirmed. After that, I was admitted for surgery.

The appointment with the doctor was difficult: he behaved nervously, he has a difficult character. The treatment was not fully prescribed. Once I asked a question about the prescriptions, and he reacted rudely to it, told me off and ordered me to take only what was already written. After that I was simply afraid to clarify anything. Later the doctor sent me for a test, I took it and continued taking the prescribed medications. The test results showed prostatitis, but I received no treatment for this diagnosis — again I was afraid to ask the doctor what to do next.

The doctor turned out to be nervous, with a difficult character, and did not fully describe the treatment. He reacted rudely to my question about the prescriptions, scolded me and told me to take only what he had already written, after which I was afraid to clarify anything. According to the test results, I was found to have prostatitis, but I received no treatment for this diagnosis, because I was again afraid to ask the doctor what to do next. A doctor is not a boss and not a judge: he is obliged to listen to the patient, explain the prescriptions and answer questions. Aggression, intimidation and refusal to explain are a violation of medical ethics and patients' rights.

We decided to postpone the procedure we had planned for the child, because there are no serious indications, and this eased our worries as parents.
