In the autumn of 2015 I had an operation: four vessels were bypassed and the aorta was cleared of overgrown fat. At that time I was 70 years old. A recording of the entire operation was on a laser disc, and I showed this disc to a cardiologist abroad.

The cardiologist abroad rated the work very highly and said that the heart would keep working for at least another 20 years. Now I am 77, and I feel great. Thank you, Nurali, he is my saviour, he gave me a second life!

I want to thank with all my heart the attending doctor Nurali Yesengaliyevich, head of the cardiac surgery department of the Sema clinic, and all the staff. During that week that I was beside my mum, I saw with my own eyes their heroic work: consultations, advice, difficult complex operations. They meet grateful patients, give final instructions — and again go into battle for life. A low bow and a huge human thank you!
