I was fortunate to get an appointment with Arseniy Mikhaylovich Varshavskiy — he is a glaucoma specialist and laser surgeon. He removed my glaucoma diagnosis, which I had been treated for for 4 years, and sealed my retina.

I am a very sensitive person, and any visit to a doctor is a great stress for me. When I was told that laser coagulation was needed, I was very worried and afraid to entrust my body to someone. Then I found Arseniy Mikhailovich.

He treated me very gently and restored my faith that among doctors there are people who have not lost their humanity, who love their work and people in general. Although the procedure itself was quite unpleasant for me, Arseniy Mikhailovich guided me through it very carefully, we stopped so that I could rest and drink some water. My daughter was a patient of Arseniy Mikhailovich since childhood, and then from the age of 18 as well. Now she requires laser coagulation of the retina. We were very upset to learn that our favourite doctor is no longer in Moscow, because my daughter planned to have surgery to improve her eyesight only with him.

I came for a routine check-up with Varshavskiy Arseniy Mikhaylovich, and he saw in time that repeat coagulation of the retina of the left eye was needed. He performed the operation brilliantly. Both at the appointment and during the operation, they explained to me the specific features of the structure of my eyes and gave advice on how to care for them going forward.

We have been seeing this doctor for many years. My mother, at 85, has several serious ophthalmological diagnoses, and one of them — a problem with the retina — was found by Arseniy Mikhaylovich, whereas other experienced doctors, unfortunately, did not see it.

He is always calm, sensitive and attentive, and he speaks about complex medical matters in very simple words. Thanks to his recommendations on treatment and prevention, we manage to preserve my eyesight and avoid surgery.
