We arrived for the appointment on time. The doctor looked somewhat confused or unsure, I don't know exactly. She looked at me strangely. I said that I had a rash all over my body, but she didn't suggest that I undress and show her — I took off my top myself and started showing her where the rash was. Initially the doctor was without a mask and without gloves, and she examined the rash on my shoulders and chest with disgust. Then, apparently, she couldn't work out what kind of rash it was and asked: "And what do you think it is?" I answered that it was probably shingles — I had simply read about it on the internet. She said that it was definitely not shingles. I asked: what is it then? She suggested that it was either an allergic reaction or chickenpox. I had a test for chickenpox — it came back negative. I had tests for my general condition, for a virus — everything came back normal. Then I had a test for shingles — also negative. After that we went to another dermatologist.
