The doctor makes a diagnosis, but at the same time says herself that she cannot make such a diagnosis, that it should be made by a psychologist. And she made this diagnosis anyway!

The appointment took place, overall everything was fine. The doctor prescribed vitamins and medications, among them was Kartan — it was prescribed at 2 ml twice a day for 1.5 months. At home I studied the prescriptions. After the tests we are supposed to come back to her again.

The sheet is full of mistakes: everything I said about the child, the doctor wrote down the opposite, as if she hadn't listened at all and wrote her own version. I was in shock when I saw that Kartan is prescribed only by a psychiatrist's order, with confirmed ASD and only in exceptional cases. Our ASD is in question, we were referred only to a psychiatrist. Why a neurologist prescribed it, I don't understand. Now I doubt whether to go to her after the tests, we will look for another one. Very disappointing. Prescribing such a medication to a child without a psychiatrist's conclusion is outrageous!
