I fell ill on Saturday, no one answered the phone at the polyclinic, so I found a doctor and got an appointment at the MDS Service clinic. It was Rabiga D., and I was very lucky. I am 75 years old, I had bronchitis with suspected pneumonia.

The appointment went terribly, it couldn't have been worse. I only went there because the clinic is near my home. The doctor examined me somehow strangely and asked incomprehensible questions. I wanted to open a sick leave, but she doesn't have a licence for it — I should have found that out in advance, that's my mistake. She several times offered to call my head of department to confirm that I was really ill. She also suggested coming there for 5 days to get antibiotics, and for that 8,000 tenge. During the examination, when I was standing undressed to the waist, a little boy was supposed to come in to bring her a certificate.

The doctor is incompetent, she has serious memory problems. The office looks more like a storage room for unnecessary things. A sick note cannot be issued because there is no licence. The fact that she suggested calling the head doctor to confirm my illness is nonsense. The examination itself and the questions were very strange. A little boy, in front of me, stripped to the waist, was supposed to bring a certificate. Why do I need antibiotics? It looks like a way to get extra profit. For all this, 8,000 tenge. I wish I had paid extra and gone to a proper clinic. A waste of time and money! I will never come here again. Only out of respect for the doctor's age did I not make a scene.
