I booked an appointment with a paediatric surgeon at Emirmed multidisciplinary hospital for 13.02.2026 at 18:00 with my son Kenzhegali Zhanserik Nurkanatuly, born on 08.02.2026. When booking, I provided the child's IIN, and all the details — date of birth, full name — were correct. When we arrived at the clinic, we were refused the appointment, explaining that the child had not reached 40 days of age. No one had warned me about this restriction in advance — neither during booking nor before the visit. I sought help because of an unpleasant smell from the umbilical wound. The district doctor did not come for two days, so I had to book a paid appointment, as I was worried about the child's condition.
Disliked
I consider it unacceptable that I was not informed in advance about such restrictions. If I had known about this in advance, I would not have taken the risk and brought a newborn baby. I ask for an official response regarding this situation and for measures to be taken to improve the quality of informing patients.

I booked an appointment for 21:00, arrived half an hour before that time, but only got in to see the doctor at around 21:40.
Disliked
I think it's expensive: I paid 5,000 tenge for a dressing change, that's a lot. I also had to wait — I arrived early, but was seen with a delay.
