The appointment was with dermatologist Saule Kartayevna. I was referred for a nail scraping, and when the result was ready, the doctor said that nothing had been detected, everything was normal, but at the same time she prescribed an antifungal liquid. She also said that there had been little material, although it was the laboratory technician who took the sample and during collection I was offered to take more material. In the end I paid 4,350 tenge for the poor-quality and insufficient collection of material by the laboratory technician. Despite the visually evident damage to the nail plate, the laboratory technician did not detect the fungus because he did not collect enough material. The doctor prescribed antifungal treatment, the medication Exoderil.
