My baby and I had a hearing test with a surdologist at the Republican Diagnostic Centre in Astana, and we were seen by Galiyeva Aizhan Berikovna. Before the procedure, that night we only slept from 4 to 7 in the morning, just 3 hours in total. Until 4 a.m. I kept the child awake by every possible means: we did modelling, drawing, watched cartoons, even went for a walk outside. In the car on the way to the clinic he fell asleep and didn't even wake up when he was carried into the building. When we took off his jacket, he whimpered a little, but from exhaustion he went out like a light as soon as he lay down. The procedure itself is somewhat similar to an electroencephalogram: electrodes are attached behind the ears and on the forehead. They wanted to put a microphone in his ear, it tickled him and he started to wake up, so they put him to sleep again and just put on wide headphones. The procedure lasted about 20 minutes. Then they woke him up, checked the ear canal and the eardrum.

Everything is fine with us, hearing is normal, we were issued a medical report with blue stamps, which are so familiar to our state organisations.
