Before that, other doctors only prescribed ointments and anti-allergy drugs like Zodak, and that was it — it helped temporarily, but no one tried to find the cause.

I liked this approach: I believe a proper diagnosis can't be made 'by eye', so everything is correct. If someone begrudges money for examinations, it's better to go to a state clinic — though usually you won't achieve much there either 😅
