After reading good reviews, I booked an appointment with this doctor, but in the end I never understood why I came. I was going to find out where I could have surgery for a polyp that was found in my uterus. For a long time I couldn't bring myself to leave a bad review, but I thought that my case might help someone decide whether or not to go to this specialist.

The only good thing is that I did get an answer to the main question — where to have the surgery.

From the very first minutes, the doctor started asking about bad habits and immediately switched to the informal "ty" (you). I am 25 years old, and I consider such familiarity unprofessional. Then she began lecturing me like a "senior comrade": she said I needed to quit smoking and assured me that I had brought dermatological and other health problems on myself. Throughout the entire appointment, I had to listen to a long lecture about the dangers of smoking and that because of it there could be difficulties with having a child in the future. I consider such interference in my personal and reproductive life completely unacceptable. I came with a polyp in the uterus, and as is well known, it is often associated with hormonal imbalances and stress. But the doctor asked three times whether I had had an abortion and kept insisting that this is a common cause of polyps. It seemed I was not being heard — or they did not want to hear me. When I asked about multifollicular ovaries, the doctor noticed that my legs were unshaven and declared that I had "male-pattern hair growth", after which she began examining the pubic area and asking how the hair grows. No doctor had ever told me such a thing before. A smear was not taken, even though I specifically emphasised that the test had not been done last time and that I have problems with microflora. Now, before the operation, I will still have to have the smear taken again. Overall, the appointment left a very unpleasant aftertaste: instead of addressing my problem, I had to listen to moralising and make excuses.
