I made an appointment at the clinic on Turkestan, but I was asked to come to Bauyrzhan Momyshuly 2d. I came. I was having a pregnancy screening, the tests were within normal limits, but because of minor deviations I was sent for a consultation with a geneticist. I went together with my husband.
Disliked
I disliked absolutely everything — both the clinic and the doctor. The website stated the appointment cost was 10,000, but at the till they charged 15,000. When I tried to sort it out, I was told a manager would call back, and they disappeared. The geneticist spent 20 minutes with a very serious look frightening me, saying the tests were bad, that an amniocentesis could be done, but it was a risk to the child. At the end, he handed me a promotional brochure with a smile and said I could have a special test for 140,000 tenge specifically at a certain clinic and on his referral. It's a good thing my husband was with me; he noticed something was off — usually you're given a choice of clinics for tests, and most likely the doctor gets some percentage. I went to another geneticist, was reassured, everything was explained in detail, and for some reason I was given the addresses of all the clinics in Astana where this test could be done. In short, firstly, DOQ.kz, warn people in advance that your prices differ from the clinics'. Secondly, money is money, but you shouldn't play on patients' nerves like that, especially when it concerns their future children — you are losing your reputation as a doctor.

The doctor explained in a hurry, and if I had questions, she gave me her number and said to write. I wrote asking what tests I could take, but instead of giving a clear answer, she gave me the numbers of other doctors and said to go to them, that she would explain everything. When I said I would go elsewhere and asked which one to cancel, she stopped reading and answering.
