The appointment was with a very knowledgeable doctor: I was listened to attentively, specific clarifying questions were asked and a thorough examination was carried out — all very politely and helpfully. They explained the situation to me and determined the diagnosis, explained which medicines were needed, what they were for and how they work. Additionally, they asked me to have a thyroid ultrasound, which was also performed professionally and competently, and everything on the scan was described in detail.
