The appointment took place with a noticeable distance and some strictness on the doctor's part. The doctor studied my MRI scans, and it was clear that she knew what she was doing. I complained of severe pain in my head and neck that had not gone away for 5-6 days and nights, painkillers did not help, and I could not sleep. I was prescribed 3 injections and 1 drip for improving blood circulation. Right there in the treatment room I received the drip and the injections. But in the evening the pain in my head and neck intensified again, my blood pressure began to drop, I lost consciousness, and in the end I was hospitalised and had a lumbar puncture — it was serous meningitis. Treatment in hospital lasted 20 days, and I am continuing treatment at home. I have not used this doctor's prescriptions again.

During the appointment there is a strong sense of distance, of aloofness, a certain strictness. During a 7-day sick leave, not one of the 7 doctors I consulted (3 private and 4 from the Archimedes clinic) suspected, although there were clear symptoms, that it was meningitis. Take care of yourselves, demand accurate diagnosis from doctors. We pay money for this.

The appointment with the doctor took place as part of a preventive check-up, no treatment was prescribed for us.

I had to wait for the appointment for a very long time — a whole hour and a half. I specifically chose a time when my infant is active and awake, but we only got in for the appointment after an hour and a half. Moreover, in the office behind a screen someone was receiving treatment during the appointment — there was no confidentiality at all.
