The appointment cost a fair amount of money, but the examination was very quick and superficial, and nothing was really explained to me. I asked to check the sex of the baby, but the doctor categorically refused to do so, citing an allegedly early stage. Although 3 weeks before that, at another clinic, we had already been told the sex provisionally, and this time I simply wanted to clarify this question.
