Patient story
I had a complex fracture of the heel, and over three months I consulted three traumatologists. I received the full picture of the injury and practical recommendations only from the orthopaedic traumatologist Zhurtubayev Talgat Nagaybayevich.

I want to thank him. This is a doctor with a capital D. He treats patients professionally and very attentively. He consults as fully and clearly as possible, not like the other doctors I have consulted since the summer. He treats not only physically, but also with words. Thank you, Talgat Nagaybayevich.

We came for an appointment, Rebek had clear signs of scoliosis, but the doctor did not see them. He gave no prescriptions — he only said that if we wanted, we could have an X-ray. He had no equipment at hand, and instead of a ruler he used paper. After that we immediately went to another doctor, and there we were immediately told many things: they identified that the leg was shorter because of the lumbar spine, that there was scoliosis, that one foot had turned inwards, and all of this was because of the curvature of the back.
Disliked
The doctor turned out to be incompetent: he did not see the clear signs of scoliosis in Rebek, gave no prescriptions, and only suggested an X-ray if we wished. There was no equipment at hand, paper instead of a ruler. My advice — always double-check with several doctors!

I happened to consult this orthopaedist, and the appointment went well.

This is an excellent orthopaedic surgeon: before operating, he always tries first to give children the chance to be treated without surgery.
Disliked
But I have completely lost trust in the most heavily advertised orthopaedic surgeons in Astana — they behave differently.
